if i spend all my time at work drawing, does that mean I am a paid artist?
what if everyone from Tumblr acted how they do online, but in real life?
I went so hard this weekend I think I lost myself in a sea of alcohol and music. feels good man.
the 90s is so lucky that ‘hands in the air’ rhymes with ‘just don’t care’. it’s the basis of every good pop song
accidentally started drawing a plant in the middle of the page, so I kept going with it
I can’t stop drawing faces
girls, girls, girls
experiments in colour with my new markers
there is a big difference between artistic appropriation and copying
thaaaankss, I dig your icon!! Moleman 4LIFE!
a trend currently sweeping Tumblr users everywhere.
Sam got me a whole bunch of amazing art supplies for my birthday last week. My favourites are the copic markers. This is just a dumb page where I was testing them out, I don’t even think this is worth scanning, I just wanted to see how the colours would show up. Ta-Da!
ohhhhhhHHH this is so nice it makes me tingly happy. it’s awesome to know that my drawings make people feel things. Permission to live vicariously through them, sweet anon >‿‿◕
I always have a little chuckle when people reblog my Makeout Session drawing and add a caption like ‘literally me’ because I’m like “No, literally ME because it is a drawing of me”
This is the commissioned work i did a month back for a small company that’s just starting up, called Wrapping Cloth. It’s based on the Japanese tradition of furoshiki, which is using eco-friendly wrapping cloth made of fabric. The idea is to stop using wrapping paper (because is a MASSIVE waste of paper) and wrap your gifts in beautiful fabric instead. Once you receive a gift that is wrapped in the cloth, you can then re-use and wrap other gifts with it.
The girls from Wrapping Cloth have collected a bunch of vintage and deadstock fabrics. They’ve cut them to size, hemmed them, and my design will be screen printed onto the inside of the fabric. They will be sold at various markets, including Glebe markets in Sydney.
I was responsible for the illustrations and logo design, and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out! Working with the girls from wrapping cloth was really fun. it was a challenge to create something that everyone was happy with, great experience and definitely something I want to keep doing.
also, It’s my birthday tomorrow
