Anonymous said: I know you get this a lot so feel free to ignore, but would you be up for recommending some music? Any genre at all :)
I have been listening to mostly Drum n Bass/house music/techno this week. If you feel like making your heart race then you will like these songs. Some of them are quite dark, mostly fast temp stuff that you can dance to or listen to in your room. I like it, you can listen to this kind of stuff in any situation

Anonymous said: what were you doing 5 yrs ago and what do you see yourself doing in another 5
5 years ago I was living in the country. I worked in a Chinese restaurant at night, a cafe in the day, and morning and afternoon I was a tutor/disability carer. I drove a Vespa and I lived with some friends in this gross old house on a highway.
In 5 years time I hope to have really long hair

Guy Billout! Kath & Kim. Suburbia. My childhood. Blow up swimming pools. Flamingos. Ken Done. My grandparents back yard. Making ugly things pink. Canberra. Escaping Winter by drawing with bright colours. My boyfriend’s hair. My family. Rosellas. Still reveling in tacky 1980s/90s Australia and drawing my fears - I usually make water pink in my drawings because blue is too realistic and I am terrified of deep dark oceans and large bodies of water so I’m trying to use more blue

Anonymous said: is there anything in particular that got you into art or have you always fancied it?
mmmmm there has never been a time in my life where I wasn’t drawing, I have been doodling since I was a very little girl. My mum is an amazing artist, she has always encouraged me to draw all the time and we always had the best art supplies at home when I was a kid. I have other hobbies but drawing has always been my #1 yes drawing 4 life.

I didn’t want any flowers, I only wanted
To lie with my hands turned up and be utterly empty.
How free it is, you have no idea how free——
The peacefulness is so big it dazes you

After one night with my new Mac Book Air™ I am a changed woman. I rushed it home, into the living room and onto the couch. I slowly lifted it out of its box and peeled away the tight plastic covering. The cold metal pressed against my thighs as I began to start it up for the first time. I peeled away the foam from the screen and saw Mac Book Air™’ in its full glory for the first time. Still relishing in that new computer feel, I plugged it in and started using it with ease straight away.
A sleek, modern design that says “I work hard, but i’m also sensitive”. Down to business; we started to get to know each other in the bedroom. I ran upstairs and together we Installed Adobe, Vuze and Chrome together in one night. It was amazing. Mac Book Air™ could install all night long without crashing. So light but so powerful, unlike my old bulky Mac Book pro. And with that 4 year warranty I know I won’t have to worry about losing Mac Book Air™ any time soon. I fell asleep with Mac Book Air™ in my arms and awoke to his soft light breathing in and out; it was pure bliss.
